During this course you will design and make a range of original textiles-based products. You will learn new creative skills such as dressmaking, printing, surface decoration techniques and embroidery. You will spend time developing your sketching and drawing skills and have the opportunity to learn how to use new equipment and experiment with a range of media. We will look at the way textiles products are designed, developed and manufactured. You will investigate the work of fashion designers and the impact of design movements on products and society.
