As an academy, admissions are the responsibility of the School Academy Councillors. They have arranged with the Gloucestershire County Council for admissions procedures to be administered by the council but the final responsibility for deciding admission rests with the School Academy Councillors.

To apply for an in-year admissions place at Tewkesbury Academy please complete the Admissions Application Form – which can be downloaded below or a hard copy can be collected from our reception. Once we have received the application form, we will contact you to arrange an admissions meeting to meet you and your child, to show you our school, and to go through all necessary information. We hold a Sixth Form Open Evening in November each year. External applicants are welcome to attend. If you are currently in Year 11 at Tewkesbury Academy you will have the opportunity to attend the open evening and make your application to our Sixth Form in person during your 16+ interview with a member of the Sixth Form team in January.
