KS4 Revision

This page of the website is dedicated, primarily, to our Year 11 and Year 10 students and families. Student performance is much improved with proactive preparation and organisation strategies. Getting into good habits early in the course increases the chance of successful outcomes at the end of KS4.

Revision Strategies explicitly taught in Year 10 and Year 11

  • Revision Timetables
  • Flash Cards
  • Spaced Practice
  • Interleaving
  • Self-Quizzing
  • Mind Maps
  • Question Level Analysis

At KS4 we continually work towards improving the number of marks in each subsequent assessment. Ultimately, it is the increased marks that leads to higher grades and more successful outcomes.

Forming good habits is an essential component of success

In terms of revision strategies

OBVIOUS – a designated study space, books, notebooks and pens left out to make it easy to get started.

ATTRACTIVE – a range of activities, flashcards, mind maps and quizzing all with colourful pens and highlighters.

EASY – start small and manageable, building up as the assessment approaches.

SATISFYING – ultimately the reward is better outcomes in August but what rewards are in place along the way?

Revision Pack

Each subject has provided a range of revision resources to support you in the run up to exams. Included for each subject are past papers, mark schemes and examiner reports. The links can be found below.
