We are pleased to welcome Year 5 and 6 children and their parents/carers to learn more about Tewkesbury Academy at our Open Evening on Monday 21 September 2026 from 5:30-7:30pm.
Parents, carers and children should report to the Sixth Form Centre upon arrival where you will be welcomed and directed accordingly. The Sixth Form Centre is located in the main car park near the motorway entrance to the school.
The evening will start at 5:30pm in the Gym with a presentation from the Principal, Ms McGillycuddy. This will give you the opportunity to hear more about our vision, values and life at Tewkesbury Academy. Should the Gym reach its capacity for the presentation, we will re-run the talk starting at 7.00pm.
Tours of the school will follow on from the presentation where you will get to see our excellent facilities, sample lessons and speak with subject staff. During tours, the Canteen will be open serving complimentary refreshments and taster meals.
The evening ends at 7:30pm.
Parking is available in the large car park nearest to the motorway, with additional parking at Alderman Knight School.

Open Mornings

Tours start at 10.20 (please arrive at reception no earlier than 10:15)
During the Open Mornings, our Senior team will welcome you and our student guides will show visitors around the school where normal lessons will be taking place. There will be the opportunity to talk to Senior staff who will be happy to answer any questions. Please arrive at Reception no earlier than 10.15am.
Tours will start from 10.20 after morning break and you will need to allow at least 1 hour look around. Please be aware that tours include stairs and moving inside and outside around a large campus, which you may need to consider if smaller children (in a pram) will accompany you. If you have accessibility needs, please advise us in advance.
