As an academy, admissions are the responsibility of the School Academy Councillors. They have arranged with the Gloucestershire County Council for admissions procedures to be administered by the council but the final responsibility for deciding admission rests with the School Academy Councillors.
Please see our Admissions Policy for further information.
If you move to the area during the school year or your child needs to move school for other reasons you will need to complete the Local Authority’s In-Year Application Form for each child. The relevant information and the forms can be viewed and downloaded from the Gloucestershire County Council website.
This form can then be sent or emailed to the academy. Our admissions team will contact you to discuss your application and to let you know whether Tewkesbury Academy can offer your child/ren a place.
We hold a Sixth Form Open Evening in November each year. External applicants are welcome to attend. If you are currently in Year 11 at Tewkesbury Academy you will have the opportunity to attend the open evening and make your application to our Sixth Form in person during your 16+ interview with a member of the Sixth Form team in January.
If you are an external applicant, please visit the Sixth Form page for course information and to download an application form. The Sixth Form team can be contacted via [email protected].
